Analytics & Reporting Analyst

The Analytics & Reporting Analyst is responsible for providing analytics, campaign measurement, reporting and attribution for advertiser accounts including our highest value client roster. As the primary analyst, this position is responsible for analysis and insights across our portfolio of products to prove the effectiveness of our products and services to justify our go-to-market strategy and solutions. Independent analysis will steward the process of advanced campaign analytics including but not limited to setting up proper tracking, identifying KPI’s relevant to campaign objectives, producing reports, analysis and optimization opportunities for our most strategic and high priority advertisers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary analyst for Google Analytics and Reporting tools/dashboard
    • Analyze digital metrics, including but not limited to: web traffic and user behavior, social media trends, etc, using analysis to inform business strategy.
    • Monitor all campaign activity and pacing
    • Conduct independent analysis and directly provide recommendations for optimization to client
    • Manage reporting vendor relationship and troubleshoot and resolve issues between our platform and the vendor.
    • Develop simple, dependable automated reports and dashboards to surface key metrics in a way that delivers information in an intelligent, digestible, visually appealing manner
    • Complete dashboard reporting connections and accuracy of the data represented
    • Analyze information to bring forward insights, results, and suggesting optimizations to improve said results
  • Troubleshoot existing client campaign analytics, operations and process.
  • Test campaign setups for quality assurance and completing documentation following launches to ensure a closed-loop process.
  • Place test orders and QA site pages for tracking purposes.
  • Implement tags through ad management platforms.
  • Independently, troubleshoot and resolve client tagging, tracking and reporting issues.
  • Review and update operational documentation for best practices and training.
  • Monitor all live campaigns for proper serving, click through action, and conversion events.
  • Active participation in Client / Agency meetings as a day-to-day digital operations team representative.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field preferred
  • Minimum three years’ experience with digital analytics/reporting platforms including Google Analytics, Omniture, TapClicks, etc., preferably including one year Political/Advocacy experience
  • Familiarity with DoubleClick product suite: DCM, DBM, DFP
  • Certification in Google Analytics including regular interaction within the platform
  • Experience with conversion tracking with GTM/Floods
  • Advanced Excel skills (including Pivot/VLOOKUP)
  • Google AdWords certification
  • Project management and organizational skills to manage campaign execution and performance across multiple clients
  • Familiarity with ad servers, rich media vendors, web debugging tools (Firebug, HTTPFox, Fiddler, etc.)
  • Familiarity with how websites and online ads work: HTML/JS/SQL
  • Confidence in analyzing and acting on performance data with the ability to make decisions to direct strategy, based upon report analysis
  • Ability to multi-task, handle pressure and work under deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Associate Media Planner

mv digital group is currently seeking an Associate Media Planner to join the Media Planning team within our Strategy department. As an Associate Media Planner, you will be responsible for building lower level media plans tailored to digital advertiser campaigns. Associate Media Planners will shadow and assist our Media Planners and Buyers with day to day tasks in addition to aiding them with the completion of materials. You will also assist in developing and maintaining a strong knowledge of your clients’ business and apply your media understanding accordingly to help deliver against the clients’ needs. The successful candidate in this role will be a self-starter, with an eagerness to learn and work closely with the Strategy team.

Ideally, our candidate will be located in the Cleveland, Harrisburg PA, or New Jersey.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Media Planner and Buyers on a daily basis
  • Help team prioritize work, track media planning output
  • Help maintain/update planning materials and resources
  • Attendance and contribution of ideas during low budget brainstorm for RFPs & RFIs
  • Build lower budget media plans based on brainstorms / KPIs
  • Put together media decks for low budget, direct buys
  • Pull and manage inventory across multiple digital media platforms
  • Complete advertiser/agency templates and materials
  • Revise media plans based on advertiser feedback
  • Review IOs to ensure they match media plans
  • Revise media plans if revisions to the IO are required
  • Book and schedule all signed and executed IOs in the custom build Salesforce inventory system

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Advertising, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with the digital advertising ecosystem of ad networks, DSPs, data, audience targeting and technology, online measurement, ad operations and ad buying, delivery and measurement platforms
  • Relevant experience at a start-up or digital media company preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus

Media Planner & Buyer

mv digital group seeking a Media Buyer & Planner with a high level of experience to provide strategic buying and integration of digital media initiatives. The Media Planner and Buyer is a client-facing role, responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day management of media activity for our clients–including strategic planning for all channels and buying/execution for digital media. In our fast-paced environment, this role will work closely with our sales department to develop and own responsibility for successful implementation of media strategy and plans based on client objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in executing multi-platform campaigns, as well as crafting the strategies to support those initiatives.

Ideally, our candidate will be located in the Cleveland, Harrisburg PA, or New Jersey.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Subject matter expert in cross-channel digital media planning and strategy
  • Responsible for managing end-to-end paid media engagements involving campaign strategy, planning and implementation
  • Conduct research to establish media objectives, strategies and tactics for cross-channel digital advertising campaigns
  • Develop integrated, cross-channel media plans for both direct and programmatic campaigns
  • Analyze relevant channels, develop budgets and flowcharts and recommend tactical implementation and timing
  • Develop and maintain media plan updates and campaign documents including media plans, flowcharts, budgets, insertion orders, vendor lists and reports to ensure a high level of accuracy
  • Develop and present comprehensive digital media plans to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Objectively evaluate vendors with the ability to articulate nuances, pros & cons for helping unlock use cases that will solve business challenges
  • Maintain understanding and knowledge of relevant Ad Tech tools (e.g. DSPs, DMPs, ad servers, etc.)
  • Perform assessments and develop roadmaps to help clients establish and achieve their paid media objectives
  • Lead paid media consultative engagements by collaborating with internal colleagues, our Clients and their marketing agencies to transform the marketing and analytics organization
  • Partake in business development, RFP responses and new business opportunities
  • Actively help to develop and grow mv digital group’s product offerings by contributing to POVs and exchanging knowledge with colleagues
  • Keep in front of industry and paid media trends and developments by conducting research, engaging in training and attending industry events

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Advertising, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital / programmatic marketing, ad operations and/or Ad Tech
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience buying and actively optimizing programmatic media campaigns using major DSPs (e.g. DV360, The Trade Desk, etc.)
  • Experience with media planning (e.g. ComScore), web analytics (e.g. GA360) and ad serving (e.g. Campaign Manager) tools
  • Experience with media planning and activation across channels (e.g. Social, Search, Display)
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • A desire to work in a data-driven environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically advanced PowerPoint skills
  • High-quality communication (written and oral), interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to take complex solutions and make them simple to explain and digest
